The community of Canto del Mar is about 2.5 miles south of Dominical; on a normal day you can drive to town from your villa in 7 minutes or less. The main beach is just one block from the town entrance.

This ocean view community is unique in that it has easy access to and from the main highway, only 150 meters and you are at the main gate. Apart from Canto del Mar, a lot of individual vacation homes in the area are quite a way off the main highway, but once you get down to the main road it is an easy drive to the town and beaches on the coastal highway.
