A car is not necessary if you have booked a villa that is close to the main road and a beach and has all the amenities and entertainment you need, such as a fully equipped kitchen, Laundry, TV, CD and DVD, and a private pool.

You can pre-book an airport shuttle van to pick you up on arrival and take you to Dominical, and be picked up for your return trip to the airport on the day of departure. For grocery shopping or dining out you can always call for a local taxi. For group tours and excursions, some tour operators offer to pick up and drop off at or near your vacation home.

However, to get the most out of your Dominical vacation, a car is recommended so that you can explore the different beaches and enjoy the scenic drive along the coast, visit various villages and communities, drop in at a few bars and cover more points of attractions on your own.
