Tamarindo being in the mid-northern part of Guan caste has a warm and arid climate with temperatures ranging from 80-100F all year round. It does not rain as much as further south during what is described as the wet season; this relatively dry weather makes Tamarindo a good place to take advantage of low season vacation rental rates.
