Yes, there are plenty of small 'sodas' right off the beach which offer tico food and a few restaurants with more elaborate menus.

Just before the National Park entrance gate on the beach there are numerous small tico restaurants and bars scattered on both sides of the dirt roads that connect the beach to the town. The closer you are from the town the more options you will find. Right next to the highway you can even enjoy pizza and burger fares.
