Given that Dominical downtown is right where the main beach is, surfers and beachcombers are spoiled for choice when it comes to meals; Japanese sushi, Thai, Tico, Italian or Steaks and Burgers, they are all just steps from the beach.

On the beachfront itself there are several bars and restaurants, with Tortilla Flat being the hotspot. This area is basically a watering hole for the surfing crowd, surfers or spectators. One block from the beach the scene is less animated, but many more choices here, with San Clemente bar and restaurant  being the focal point.
