Elaine, Thanks for a wonderful stay. The water problem was sorted out straightaway. Thanks for starting out with a few staples in the fridge. We went to the nearby waterfall and enjoyed lots of local birdlife. We never did find "Puerto Nuevo Beach" despite our concerted effort! But we enjoyed Dominical, Dominicalito, Baru and Hermosa Beaches. Also had an enjoyable dinner last night during a terrific downpour at La Parcela restaurant. We didn't have any difficulties with the condo. We left some foodstuffs int he fridge that can be used. The Blender is not working FYI. And we only had one visitor - a scorpion in our bedroom we found in the morning - by the door! A few local green worms like to get in, but were not worrisome. Thanks again. Irma & Jim.

My granddaughter and I spent a week (June 2010) in Dominical at the (Pacific View Villa) condo and had a wonderful time. The views of the ocean from the living room and the bodega are spectacular. Every morning we watched iguanas in the trees. One of the best swimming/surfing beaches was just a five minute walk down the hill. And did I mention the ceviche we bought on the beach while we watched the surfers? Delicious! The charming town of Dominical has so much to offer. Every night we ate at a different restaurant. Thank you so much, Elaine, for being such a wonderful resource for where to go ziplining and white water rafting. Staying at your place was the highlight of our trip through Costa Rica.
