There are some specialists in town at the local surf shops where you can get good advice on the most suitable conditions at the time you are here. Low season or high, the surfs always up here. The whole Guanacaste region is a popular surfing destination as who can find good quality and consistent surf year round.

So those who are really into surfing they can experience heaps of large waves, yet those who are inexperienced or if you have been away from the sport a while will find smaller and easier conditions as well.
